Pipe, hose and duct adapter generator

Give the two diameters and the lengths. The generator builds a reducer, coupler or funnel with a smooth transition in your browser and exports it ready to print.

What to put in the prompt

  • Say inner or outer for each diameter. A hose slides over an outer diameter; a pipe slides into an inner diameter.
  • Give each end a length. 25 to 40mm is enough for a hose clamp.
  • Give the wall thickness. 2mm for hoses and ducts; 3mm for anything under pressure.
  • Ask for a barb, a lip or a stop ring if the hose needs to grip.

Frequently asked questions

Can it make a vacuum or dust-collection adapter?

Yes. Measure both ends with callipers, say inner or outer for each, and give a length. Add 0.5mm for a slip fit or subtract 0.3mm for a press fit.

Will it be watertight?

The model is a closed solid with no gaps. Whether the print is watertight depends on your slicer settings: use 3 or more walls and 100 percent infill on thin parts.
