Wall hook generator

Give the height, the arm length and the screw hole. The generator builds a hook with a rounded tip in your browser and exports it ready to print.

Try one:

Builds in your browser. The CAD engine downloads once (about 60 MB), then every part is local.

What to put in the prompt

  • Give the overall height, the width and the thickness. 6mm thick carries a coat; 10mm carries a bike.
  • Give the arm length and say rounded tip or upturned lip so things do not slide off.
  • Give the screw hole size and count. Say countersunk for flat-head screws.
  • Say where it mounts: wall, desk edge, shelf, 2020 extrusion. Edge clamps need the edge thickness.

Frequently asked questions

How much weight can a printed hook hold?

A 6mm thick PLA or PETG hook with two screws holds a coat or a bag easily. For heavier loads go to 8 to 10mm and print the hook lying on its side so the layers run along the arm.

Can it make command-strip or adhesive hooks?

Yes. Ask for a flat back with no holes and the strip size, for example a 40mm x 20mm flat back for an adhesive strip.
